Automotive Glass Technician
About the job
As an automotive glass technician, you are the first point of contact for customers with damaged windows. You assess the damage, carry out repairs and replacements, and advise customers on safe use. You work both at the customer's location and in the workshop.
A typical day starts with assessing the condition of the first cars. You explain to the customer what you are going to do and why. Then you carry out glass repairs, replace windows, and calibrate camera systems. You make sure the administrative side of the job is completed properly and provide after-sales support when needed. Sometimes you are also on call for emergencies in the evenings or at weekends.
