Tram and Metro Collision Repair Mechanic

About the job

You work as a mechanic doing collision and accident repairs on trams and metro trains in Amsterdam. Your main tasks are diagnosing damage and getting vehicles back in full working order.

What you'll do

• Inspect and repair trams and metro trains after checks, collisions and accidents
• Diagnose damage using technical drawings and manuals, and identify the parts needed
• Log repair and project work in a database
• Test and check mechanical and electrical systems, and suggest improvements where needed
• Do test drives and brake tests to check the results of a repair

What we ask

• Experience with mechanical or electrical work on vehicles or machines
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams
• Experience with welding, sheet metal work or bodywork straightening is a plus
