About the job

You work as a diesel engine mechanic in a workshop or directly on inland vessels. You carry out repairs and maintenance on engines from various brands, on your own or as part of a team.

What you'll do

• You carry out maintenance and repairs on diesel engines from brands such as Caterpillar, Hatz and John Deere
• You perform inspections and overhauls on board inland vessels
• You report completed work and pass on recommendations to clients
• You work on new build projects, both independently and in a team
• Once you have enough experience, you can travel to clients abroad to diagnose and fix faults

What we ask

• Proven experience as a diesel engine mechanic
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines from various brands on your own
• Willingness to work in a workshop and on board vessels
