Semi-trailer and heavy vehicle mechanic

About the job

You work as a semi-trailer and heavy vehicle mechanic, in a workshop or on location. You handle maintenance, repairs, overhauls and fault finding on different types of rolling stock.

What you'll do

• Carry out full technical inspections on semi-trailers and tractor units
• Perform APK (Dutch mandatory vehicle inspection) and tachograph calibration
• Do construction work, repair damage and work on new vehicle build projects
• Fit and remove large and small parts on all types of rolling stock
• Service semi-trailers and tractor units, covering mechanical, hydraulic and engine systems

What we ask

• Experience repairing or servicing semi-trailers, heavy vehicles or similar machinery
• Practical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic or engine systems
• Willing to work both in the workshop and on location (field service)
