Van and truck mechanic

About the job

You work as a van and truck mechanic in Amsterdam. You diagnose faults and carry out repairs on different types of commercial vehicles, mostly on your own.

What you'll do

• Diagnose faults and repair different types of vans and trucks
• Carry out inspections and do electrical, mechanical, engine and hydraulic maintenance and repair work
• Perform APK (Dutch mandatory vehicle safety inspection) checks
• Record your work accurately and report to your supervisor

What we ask

• Experience with repairing commercial or heavy vehicles
• Able to work independently on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs
• Accurate and focused on quality
