Maintenance Mechanic

About the job

As a maintenance mechanic, you keep production machines and installations running and in good condition. You work in a 3-shift or 5-shift rotation as part of a technical team. The job is based in Assen, in the north of the Netherlands. The location is easy to reach from Zwolle, Emmen, Leeuwarden, and Groningen.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive maintenance on production machines and installations
• Find, analyse, and fix faults on your own
• Work together with colleagues from other shifts and share information
• Take part in technical improvements and process optimisation

What we ask

• A completed technical MBO (Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a level 3-4 trade certificate) in mechanics, mechatronics, or electrical engineering
• Experience as a maintenance mechanic is a plus, but candidates without experience are also welcome
• Ability to work well in a team
• A solution-focused approach and a calm head when things go wrong
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift and 5-shift system

• Salary from €3,500 to €5,500 gross per month, including shift allowance, depending on the shift type
• Full-time position (36-40 hours per week)
