Maintenance Mechanic / Electrician
About the job
As a Maintenance Mechanic you and your colleagues keep the machines running. You work a 5-shift rotation and make sure breakdowns are fixed quickly and preventive maintenance stays on schedule. This is a family-owned company in Brabant. You have plenty of room to suggest technical improvements and optimisations.
What you'll do
- Find, analyse and fix mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out preventive maintenance on production machines and installations
- Inspect, test and adjust installations
- Carry out measurements and technical checks
- Modify and improve machines and installations
- Read electrical diagrams, technical drawings and flow charts
- Record maintenance work and analyse fault data
- Actively help improve the reliability and availability of the machine park
What we ask
You are a technical specialist who likes working in a production environment. You enjoy both fixing breakdowns and improving installations. You work carefully, set the right priorities and feel responsible for a production process that runs well.
You also have
- A completed MBO (Dutch vocational education, technical level) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, WTB or a related field
- Several years of experience as a mechanic in an industrial production environment
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations
- Experience reading electrical diagrams and technical drawings
- Experience with maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office
