Junior Infrastructure Installer

About the job

As a trainee installer, you work on projects in the energy transition and infrastructure. You learn the trade on the job, while following a training programme that is fully paid for by the client. Based in Zwolle, you work with a team on projects involving gas, water and heat networks.

What you'll do

• Locate cables and pipes in the field using manual methods
• Do groundwork: digging, backfilling and compacting trenches for new or replacement networks
• Connect standard network and infrastructure components under supervision
• Carry out installation work on connections under supervision
• Gradually take on more responsibilities, moving towards working independently as an installer

What we ask

• Interest in technical work and willingness to work outdoors
• Willingness to follow a vocational training programme while working
• Minimum VMBO level of education (secondary vocational education)
• Category B driving licence
• Living in the province of Overijssel or south-east Drenthe
• Motivation to grow into an independent installer

What we offer

• Starting salary from €2,422 to €3,100 gross per month
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• Working week of 32 to 40 hours, depending on your preference
• 25 days of annual leave and 13 ATV days (scheduled time off in lieu of overtime) at full-time hours
