Field Technician / Service Engineer

About the job

As a Field Technician, you make sure people can rely on their assistive devices. Your work keeps the equipment safe, dependable, and ready to use. That helps clients stay independent and take part in daily life. You work from the Goor area and spend most of your time on the road. No two days are the same. You combine technical know-how, problem solving, and direct contact with people.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair personal assistive devices at clients' homes
• Inspect and assess the technical condition of equipment
• Carry out repairs and modifications within set time standards
• Record completed work and used materials digitally
• Advise clients and colleagues on how to use and maintain equipment
• Flag opportunities for improvement and look for practical solutions
• Take part in on-call emergency shifts on a rotating basis

What we ask

• Experience as a service engineer, field technician, or in a similar technical role
• Up-to-date technical knowledge and skills
• A customer-focused attitude and a professional approach to work
• Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
• A solutions-oriented way of thinking
• Good communication skills and a cooperative attitude towards the team

What's on offer

• Salary from €2,937 to €3,658 gross per month
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• Working week of 32 to 38 hours, based on your preference
• 24 days of annual leave and 13 ADV days (scheduled time off in lieu) based on a 40-hour week
• A good pension plan through PMT, with two thirds of the contribution paid by the employer
• A day off every year on 5 May and a standby bonus of €200 net

• Employment conditions match those of staff employed directly by the opdrachtgever (the client company). This applies to the hourly rate, number of days off, allowances, ADV payments, and other pay components
