Assembler (no experience, on-the-job training)

About the job

As a trainee assembler, you work on projects in the energy transition and infrastructure sector. You learn the trade on the job, while following a fully paid training programme. You are based in Zwolle and work with a team on gas, water and heating networks.

What you'll do

• Locate cables and pipelines using manual methods.
• Do groundwork: digging, backfilling and compacting excavations.
• Connect standard network components under supervision.
• Install connections, including service connections, under supervision.
• Gradually take on more responsibility toward working independently as an assembler.

What we ask

• Interest in technical work and willingness to work outdoors.
• Open to learning while working.
• Minimum VMBO diploma (pre-vocational secondary education).
• Category B driving licence.
• Living in the province of Overijssel or south-east Drenthe.
• Motivated to grow into an independent specialist.

What we offer

• Starting salary of €2,900 to €3,200 gross per month.
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
• Working week of 32 to 40 hours, depending on your preference.
• 25 days of annual leave and 13 ATV days (scheduled days off as part of the collective working hours arrangement) based on full-time hours.
• Fully paid training, and you also receive your normal salary on school days.
• Your own van with safe, professional tools.
