Machine Assembly Technician

About the job

We are looking for an assembly technician for a technical service provider in the machine building industry. You will assemble machine modules and complete production lines, connect and test systems, both in the workshop and at customer sites, sometimes abroad.

What you'll do

• Assemble machine modules and complete installations independently
• Build production lines together with fellow assembly technicians
• Wire, connect and test systems
• Carry out inspections and quality checks
• Install machines at customer sites, including abroad
• Spot opportunities for improvement and act on them

What we ask

• MBO-level education (Dutch vocational qualification) in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field
• Experience as a machine assembly technician, assembly fitter or machine builder
• Valid category B driving licence
• Accurate and attentive to quality, safety and professionalism
• Willing to keep developing professionally
• Available to work in the Amsterdam or IJmuiden area

What we offer

• Gross salary of €3,200 to €3,800 per month
• Allowance for work abroad and a daily expense allowance when visiting customers abroad
• Training and certificates fully funded by the opdrachtgever (the client company you work for)
• Travel costs reimbursed or a company car
• Company pension and 25 days of leave
