Refrigeration Engineer

About the job

You work on large refrigeration and freezer installations in retail, hospitality and logistics. Think walk-in coolers and freezers in supermarkets, restaurants, petrol stations and large distribution centres. You work independently and move between different projects and locations.

What you'll do

• Assemble and install large coolers and freezers according to technical specifications
• Commission refrigeration and freezer systems
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration systems
• Diagnose and fix faults in large freezer installations on your own
• Find and repair leaks
• Check and adjust installations to keep them running at their best
• Talk with the client about the work done and the solutions used

What we ask

• MBO (Dutch vocational) diploma in refrigeration or electrical engineering
• F-gas certificate category 1, or willingness to obtain it
• Experience with refrigeration and freezer installations or large cold stores
• Category B driving licence
• Good command of Dutch
