Electrical Fitter (junior/experienced)

About the job

You work on the maintenance and repair of traction networks and traction installations for public transport. There are no sales targets. You focus on keeping systems running and fixing faults. If your background is more mechanical, you will mainly work on overhead line systems. If it is more electrical, you will work on traction installations.

What you'll do

• Maintain and inspect medium and high voltage installations
• Carry out switching work following safety procedures
• Find and fix faults in traction installations

What we ask

• A technical education in electrical engineering or mechanics. Candidates who just finished school or are about to graduate are welcome
• No experience needed for junior applicants. The employer arranges all required certificates internally
• Willing to work in a 3-shift rotation

What we offer

• Salary from €3,000 to €3,800 gross per month
• Shift allowance of €600
• 25 extra days off on top of standard annual leave, because of the shift work schedule
• All required certificates arranged by the employer
