Underground Infrastructure Installer

About the job

You work outside every day on projects for laying and maintaining underground cables and pipelines. Depending on your qualifications and experience, you specialise in low voltage, gas, water, or heat distribution.

What you'll do

• Lay, replace, and maintain underground cables and pipelines
• Install and connect low-voltage networks and gas, water, and heat pipelines
• Make and modify connections
• Locate and fix faults and technical problems
• Work from technical drawings and work instructions, keeping yourself, your colleagues, and your surroundings safe

What we ask

• Completed training or vocational qualifications in low-voltage distribution, gas, water, or heat, or an equivalent recognised under CKB regulations (CKB is the Dutch certification body for utility network workers)
• Technical thinking and a hands-on approach, able to work accurately and follow safety rules
• Good command of Dutch; a category B driving licence is a plus
