Container Fitter / Tank Container Mechanic

About the job

We are looking for container fitters to work in Schiedam. The client specialises in tank transport and operates internationally. You work with both standard containers and tank containers, so the work is varied.

What you'll do

• Repair damage and carry out maintenance on tank containers
• Remove and replace panels, and fit flanges, seals and valves
• Build MDI/TDI tank containers
• Carry out inspections and pressure tests
• Recondition valves

What we ask

• A completed vocational qualification (MBO level 2, Dutch secondary vocational education) in metalworking, mechanical engineering or a related field is a plus
• Experience as a container fitter is welcome
• A valid VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working in technical and industrial environments)
• Good command of Dutch
• Some experience working with tools in a technical environment
• Not meeting all requirements is not a problem, there are opportunities for juniors
