Alarm and Security Systems Installer

About the job

You install and maintain different types of security systems. You work at customer sites and make sure the systems work correctly.

What you'll do

• Install and program alarm systems and fire detection systems
• Carry out planned and emergency maintenance checks
• Diagnose and fix faults in installations
• Explain how to use the systems to customers and other installers
• Record completed work and write reports on the results
• Take part in emergency on-call shifts according to the schedule

What we ask

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar technical role
• MBV and VCA-VOL certificates (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working in high-risk environments; VOL is the full version for supervisors and independent workers)
• Category B driving licence and willingness to take on emergency on-call shifts
• Ability to provide a certificate of good conduct
• A BMI installer and maintenance certificate is a plus
