Security Systems Installer

About the job

As a security systems installer, you work on a variety of security technology projects. You install modern protection systems at companies and institutions, and you make sure every installation is handed over safely and to a high standard. You work on your own or with colleagues at different locations. No two days are the same.

What you'll do

• Install and assemble security systems.
• Program and commission alarm systems, cameras, access control, intercoms and fire detection systems.
• Read technical drawings and diagrams.
• Test, inspect and sign off on installations.
• Flag opportunities for technical improvements and help find solutions.
• Consult with colleagues, project managers and clients about progress.

What we ask

• MBO-level education or thinking (MBO is the Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a Level 3 or 4 vocational certificate), preferably in electrical engineering.
• Interest in electrical engineering or security technology.
• Category B driving licence.
• Good command of Dutch.
• Customer-focused with good communication skills.
• Willingness to take part in training and product courses.
• MBV/TBV certificate, or willingness to obtain it.

• Gross salary of €3,100 to €3,600 per month, depending on experience.
