Automotive Glass Technician

About the job

You work as an automotive glass technician in Zoetermeer. You assess glass damage, carry out repairs and replacements, and help keep vehicles safe on the road.

What you'll do

• Inspect and assess damage to automotive glass
• Repair and replace automotive glass
• Advise customers on safety, maintenance, and available solutions
• Fit temporary protection when a replacement pane is not immediately available
• Calibrate and recalibrate cameras and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)
• Record completed work and customer data in the system
• Carry out checks and after-sales activities following repairs and replacements

What we ask

• Category B driving licence for a manual vehicle
• Good physical condition and ability to stay active throughout the day
• Willingness to be on call during evenings and weekends for emergency jobs

What we offer

• Gross salary from €2,800 to €3,500 per month, depending on age and experience
• 25 days of annual leave
• 5 ATV days paid out in cash (ATV: agreed reduction in working hours, a Dutch scheme where extra time off is paid out as a cash sum)
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a Dutch statutory bonus paid on top of your salary)
• In-house training to become a fully qualified glass technician
• €100 gross per month extra after completing the training
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre
• Work from one fixed location in Zoetermeer
