Technical Assembler

About the job

As a technical assembler, you support the smooth running of technical processes at the client company (opdrachtgever). You work with modern machines and production lines. You handle assembly, maintenance and optimisation of equipment, and you work with different departments.

What you'll do

• Assembly: putting together mechanical, electrotechnical and hydraulic components according to technical documentation.
• Commissioning: testing machines and bringing them to full operational readiness.
• Maintenance: carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and installations according to the service plan.
• Optimisation: taking part in discussions about improvements and development of machines and production lines.
• Collaboration: working with departments such as engineering and production to solve technical problems.

What we ask

• Completed MBO (Dutch vocational qualification, level 3 or 4) in mechatronics, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
• Experience with assembling mechanical, electrotechnical and hydraulic components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• You live near Sneek, Drachten, Heerenveen or Leeuwarden.
• Willing to obtain a VCA certificate (Dutch safety certification for contractors) and/or a forklift licence.

What we offer

• Gross salary from €2,600 to €4,000 per month.
• Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
• Full-time work: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• 25 days of annual leave and 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a statutory extra payment made once a year).
• Travel cost reimbursement according to company policy.
• Training opportunities, including a PLC course and certifications.
