Precision Assembly Worker

About the job

A precision assembly worker is needed for the production of high-quality marine instruments and control systems. The client is a company based in Sneek with around 90 to 95 employees. They supply their products to ships all over the world, including cruise ships, cargo vessels and navy ships.

What you'll do

• Assemble small mechanical parts and subassemblies
• Put together precision and electrotechnical components
• Connect and route wiring
• Read and work with technical drawings and work instructions
• Test assembled products
• Check quality and report deviations

What we ask

• You work accurately and have experience assembling small technical parts
• You can work independently and take responsibility for the quality of your own work
• Preferred: MBO level 3 or 4 diploma in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a related field
• Preferred: experience in precision assembly, fine mechanical assembly or electrotechnical assembly
• Preferred: experience working with technical drawings and work instructions
• You understand what precision assembly means in practice
• Note: if your background is mainly in heavy mechanical engineering, metalworking, turning or milling, this role is probably not a good fit for your skills

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary between €2,750 and €4,000, depending on knowledge and experience
• Working week of 32 to 40 hours
• Fixed day shifts from 08:00 to 16:30
• 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days (scheduled time off based on a reduction in working hours) per year at full time
