Tram mechanic - collision repair

About the job

You work on collision repair and maintenance of trams and metro vehicles. It is technically varied work on vehicles that carry thousands of passengers every day.

What you'll do

• You carry out collision repairs on trams and metro vehicles after inspections, accidents and other damage
• You diagnose faults using technical drawings and specifications, identify the parts needed and carry out the repairs
• You weld, do bodywork and straighten components
• You test and inspect mechanical and electrical systems
• You record repair and project work in a database and take part in test runs and brake tests to check the quality of the work

What we ask

• Technical experience in repairing or maintaining vehicles, machines or similar equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and work according to specifications
• Hands-on experience with welding, bodywork or diagnosing mechanical and electrical systems
