Logistics Operator - Chemicals - 3 Shifts

As a Logistics Operator, you are responsible for dispatch operations within the factory. You work for a worldwide producer of minerals and chemicals. At the Amsterdam site, you make sure the loading and unloading of trucks, tankers, tank ships, coasters, barges and bulk carriers runs smoothly. These vessels and vehicles transport the company's products all over the world. Your tasks are varied.

What you'll do

• Operate transport and loading/unloading installations
• Receive and guide truck drivers and others on site
• Check and sign batch documentation
• Carry out quality, environmental and safety checks
• Fix first-level faults in the installations

What we ask

We are looking for a Logistics Operator who can work well independently, has good problem-solving skills and communicates clearly. We also ask:

• A completed Vapro A training (a Dutch process operator qualification) or equivalent
• An interest in technology or logistics
• Good maths skills
• Willingness to work a 3-shift schedule

What we offer

As a Logistics Operator, you take on a role with real responsibility. You are an important link in the loading and unloading process. We also offer:

• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent contract
• A gross base salary of €3,500 to a maximum of €4,000 gross per month
• A performance bonus of 6-10% of gross annual salary
• A 3-shift allowance of 20.5%
• 8.33% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid once a year on top of your salary)
• 25 days of leave
