Machine Operator

About the job

As a Machine Operator you are an important part of the filling process. You make sure the production lines are set up correctly, run smoothly and meet the quality and safety standards. You work with different products and packaging, so you spend a lot of time setting up and changing over machines.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor filling lines and related machines.
• Oversee the process from sauce pasteurisation to packing the finished product.
• Change over and precisely set up machines when switching products, including carrying out a full line clearance.
• Fix the most common faults yourself and carry out first-level maintenance.
• Carry out checks to monitor product quality and the production process.
• Work in line with the applicable hygiene, safety and quality rules.
• Discuss production progress, quality and safety during the daily standup meeting with your shift.
• Actively contribute ideas for improvements to machines and the production process.

What we ask

• A completed technical education or operator course at Mbo-2 or Mbo-3 level, for example Mechanisch Operator B.
• A minimum of Mbo-2 level, for example Mechanisch Operator A.
• Willingness to work a 3-shift or 4-shift schedule.
• A good command of Dutch.
• Experience in the food industry is a plus, but not required.

What we offer

• A 38-hour working week.
• Gross monthly salary from €3,230 to €4,757, including shift allowance, depending on experience and education.
• Shift allowance of 20.6% for a 3-shift schedule or 30.2% for a 4-shift schedule, depending on the production line.
• Pension with no personal contribution (premievrij pensioen).
• Annual bonus of 6%.
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre.
