Process Operator - Chemistry - 5-Shift

About the job

As a process operator at a leading chemical company, you play a key role in the production of catalysts. You use your knowledge and experience to manage processes and the equipment involved. The site uses a wide range of techniques, so every day is different. You work a 5-shift rotation and deal with processes such as sieving, extrusion, precipitation and calcination.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate process installations or parts of them from the control room
• Carry out inspections and field rounds
• Detect faults and isolate installations for maintenance (LOTOTO)
• Perform first-level maintenance on installations and machines
• Keep your workplace clean, tidy and safe

What we ask

This is a complex site, so the bar is high.

• A technical qualification at MBO-3 level or above (MBO is the Dutch system for vocational education), for example VAPRO B
• At least 4 years of work experience in a (petro)chemical production environment
• A very good command of Dutch
• Your own transport
• Willingness to work a 5-shift rotation

What we offer

• A gross base salary of €4,000 to €5,500 per month, including a shift allowance of 29.5%
• A fixed 13th month payment
• A fixed year-end bonus (minimum 6.5%)
• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a standard Dutch payment on top of your salary) of 8.33%
