About the job

As a Process Operator Plastics, you are responsible for the stable and efficient running of your production line. You oversee the process from start to finish, respond immediately to deviations, and make sure quality and output stay on track. You combine technical knowledge with process monitoring, and you work in a modern production environment where precision matters.

No shift is the same. You work with extruders and thermoforming machines, and you are constantly optimising, adjusting, and improving. You keep a clear overview, set priorities, and make sure the handover to the next shift runs smoothly.

What you'll do

  • Setting up and adjusting the line: You set up the extruder and thermoforming machine correctly and monitor the full process.
  • Changeovers and optimisation: You switch machines to different product formats and adjust them precisely.
  • Troubleshooting: You fix mechanical faults and simple electronic faults. For more complex problems, you bring in the technical team.
  • Quality control: You assess raw materials, semi-finished products, and end products, and you act on deviations.
  • Shift handover and teamwork: You start and end every shift with a clear handover to your shift team.
