Process Operator Electrolysis
About the job
As a Process Operator you are responsible, together with your shift team, for the safe, stable and efficient running of the electrolysis process. You monitor the installations from the control room and during walkround checks, and you make sure that the production of chlorine, hydrogen and caustic soda meets the highest safety and quality standards.
You work with a modern, largely automated production process where different process installations and unit operations come together. Your work includes electrolysis, hydrogen compression, caustic evaporation, hypochlorite production, pumping, heat exchangers and utilities.
What you'll do
- Start up and shut down installations during your shift
- Carry out plant isolations
- Supervise maintenance work
- Continuously monitor key process parameters
- Analyse breakdowns and spot deviations before they affect production
- Actively contribute to improvements in safety, reliability and efficiency
What we ask
- Completed technical education at secondary vocational level in AOT, VAPRO B, VAPRO C or an equivalent process-related field
- Experience as a Process Operator in the chemical or process industry
- Knowledge of automated production processes and DCS (Distributed Control System) control systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work through breakdowns in a structured way
- Safety-conscious way of working, own initiative and an active attitude towards improvements
- Willingness to work in a 5-shift rotation
What we offer
- Gross monthly salary from €3,800 to €5,500, depending on experience, including shift allowance
- Shift allowance of 30%
