Process Operator – Offshore

**About the job**

You work for a service company that provides skilled technical workers to the energy sector, both onshore and offshore. The company is focused on the energy transition, and as a process operator you play an important part in it. On this offshore installation you operate and monitor production processes. You work in a technically demanding environment with a lot of variety. No two days are the same.

Some examples of daily tasks

**What you'll do**

• Monitor the gas production process via a DCS (Distributed Control System) and check things like gas supply, compressor pressures, dew point, temperatures and flow rates
• Do rounds on the installation and check safety and possible leaks
• Start up, shut down and align various pumps and gas compressors
• Isolate and drain parts of the system to make sure work can be done safely
• Help write isolation programmes for possible shutdowns
• Take and check daily overboard samples and glycol samples
• Take part in job hazard analyses, incident investigations, safety meetings and similar activities
• Participate in ERT teams (fire team member, banksman, gas measurement, coxswain, etc.)

**What we ask**

We are looking for a process operator who is enthusiastic and wants to keep developing. You are analytical and can solve problems quickly. We also ask:

• Completed Vapro-B/C training (a Dutch process technology qualification) or equivalent
• Experience working with panel or DCS process control systems
• Knowledge of various process and utility systems
• Medical fitness for the health check required for offshore safety training
• Very good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written

**What we offer**

• Gross monthly salary of €4,400 to €6,400, based on a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off schedule, including a 37% offshore allowance (equivalent to €25.50–€37.00 per hour)
• One-year contract with the intention to move to a permanent contract
• Good opportunities to grow, for example to senior process operator

• Paid offshore training
