Production Operator / Food Preparation

About the job

Do you want to contribute to an important production process, and is safety a priority for you? As a production operator at a food manufacturer in South Holland (near Zoetermeer), you will work with more than 500 colleagues to produce medical food for vulnerable groups. In the preparation department, you will work directly on the production of a medical, liquid product portfolio, using the latest techniques to achieve the highest possible quality.

What you'll do

  • Start up, operate, adjust and coordinate the production process
  • Change over production lines
  • Take samples and analyse semi-finished products, and calculate corrections where needed
  • Carry out administrative tasks, such as opening and closing production orders and recording materials used
  • Report deviations
  • Perform first-level maintenance and troubleshoot minor faults

What we ask

We are looking for a production operator who is enthusiastic, works well in a team and has a technical mindset. We also expect:

  • An MBO level 3 or 4 diploma (or equivalent, in a relevant field). MBO is a Dutch vocational qualification
  • Work experience as a production operator in a production environment
  • A very good command of Dutch, both spoken and written
  • High standards when it comes to safety, quality and hygiene
  • A good overview of the overall situation and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Accuracy, good communication skills and the ability to carry out risk analyses independently

What we offer

As a production operator you will work on interesting processes and have plenty of opportunities to develop further. We also offer:

  • A gross base salary of €2,800 to €3,600 per month, excluding a shift allowance of 28.7%
  • A learning and training budget of €500 per year
  • Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per km
