Process Operator (control room)

About the job

You work as a process operator in the control room at a chemical plant in Geleen. You monitor automated control systems, analyse process data, and respond to deviations. You work closely with field operators to keep the installation running safely and stably. The role is on a 5-shift rotation.

What you'll do

• Monitor and adjust process installations from the control room
• Read and interpret process values, alarm signals, and trends
• Investigate deviations and take the right corrective action
• Coordinate with field operators about the status of installations and processes
• Record process data and support fault resolution

What we ask

• A technical background, preferably in process or chemical technology
• Experience working with process installations and automated control systems
• Ability to assess process data and deviations correctly
• Accurate way of working, with attention to safety and quality
• Willingness to work a 5-shift rotation in Geleen
• Experience in the process industry, manufacturing, or a similar technical environment

• Salary up to €3,600 gross per month, excluding shift allowance
• Shift allowance of 28% for 5-shift work
