Food Production Operator

About the job

As an operator you are responsible for your own production line. You make sure production runs safely, smoothly and within quality standards. You work with automated equipment in the production of nuts or peanut butter. There is plenty of room to grow your technical knowledge.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate modern production and packaging lines
• Change over machines when switching products
• Monitor the production process and product quality
• Fix faults yourself where possible
• Work with the technical department on more complex breakdowns

What we ask

• Experience as an operator in a production environment
• Experience in the food industry is a plus, but experience in another production environment also counts
• A technical understanding and a feel for working with machines
• You work independently and take initiative
• Good command of Dutch or English

What we offer

• Salary up to €4,200 gross per month, including shift allowance
• 25 holiday days and 12 ATV days (extra days off agreed in the CAO, the Dutch collective labour agreement)

• Pension scheme, with two thirds of the contribution paid by the employer

• With a good performance review, a permanent contract is possible
• Depending on the role and the opdrachtgever (the client company you work for), the recruitment process may include a reference check and verification of diplomas and certificates
