Production Operator at a Bakery

About the job

You work in the creams department. You make sure production runs smoothly and efficiently. You set up machines, prepare raw materials, and check product quality as you go. If something small goes wrong, you fix it yourself or call in the right colleague at the right time. You work at an industrial bakery in Maastricht that makes cookies for markets in the Netherlands and abroad.

What you'll do

• Weigh and prepare raw materials.
• Set up, operate, and changeover production machines.
• Apply the correct codes and labels to products.
• Restock and move materials using a forklift or EPT (electric pallet truck).
• Solve technical problems or report them on time.
• Carry out cleaning tasks according to hygiene and health and safety rules.

Work schedule

• 05:45 - 14:00
• 13:45 - 22:00
• 21:45 - 06:00
• On Mondays you start 15 minutes earlier because of the startup after the weekend.

What we ask

• You work accurately, take safety seriously, and follow hygiene rules.
• You speak Dutch or English fluently.
• You are flexible and willing to work a 3-shift system.
• You have your own transport and live near Maastricht.
• Experience in a production or technical environment is a plus.

What we offer

• Hourly rate from €16.58 gross, which is around €2,880 gross per month, not including any shift allowances.
• Good allowances for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
• Opportunities to grow through training and promotion.
• Travel costs reimbursed at €0.25 per kilometre for distances from 5 km one way.
