Reach Truck Operator

About the job

As a reach truck operator, you will support the smooth running of logistics processes. Your work includes picking, packing and preparing customer orders for shipment. You have the chance to grow your skills, including learning to operate a reach truck.

What you'll do

• Order picking: accurately collecting and packing customer orders according to instructions
• Reach truck operation: learning and carrying out reach truck tasks once you have gained experience
• Warehouse organisation: storing goods safely and systematically
• Working with the logistics team to improve processes and keep standards high
• Quality checks: checking orders and processes against the required specifications

What we ask

• MBO 3 (Dutch vocational qualification at level 3) or equivalent work experience
• Experience in logistics or warehouse work is a plus
• A reach truck certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• Good command of Dutch or English, spoken and written (Dutch level will be tested)
• Available to work at least 36 hours per week on the day shift
• Accurate, able to work in a team and takes initiative

What we offer

• Hourly rate of €17.48 gross
• Temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• Full time: 36 to 40 hours per week
• 25 days of annual leave and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary)
• Travel cost reimbursement: €0.23 per km, up to €13.80 per day
• Possibility to obtain a reach truck certificate
• Employment conditions based on equal pay: the same as employees hired directly by the opdrachtgever (the client company), including days off, allowances, pay for time off and other pay components
