Paving Assistant

About the job

You work as a paving assistant, helping to lay and maintain paved surfaces. You support the paver at every stage, from preparing the ground to the final finish.

What you'll do

• Bring materials to the work site (paving stones, sand, other materials)
• Prepare the ground: digging, levelling, and compacting
• Assist with laying surfaces and doing repair work
• Make sure the finished surface looks neat
• Keep the work site tidy and take care of the tools

What we ask

• Experience in construction work or physical outdoor work
• Category B driving licence
• VCA Basis certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction sites), or willingness to get it for free
