Production worker, 2 shifts

About the job

As a production worker, you are an important part of the manufacturing process. You work according to clear instructions and make sure products are assembled carefully and to quality standards. The client (opdrachtgever, the company you work for) is an international production company in Nijverdal. They make innovative textile and carbon materials used worldwide in aircraft, the aerospace industry and Formula 1 cars. Quality and precision matter a lot here.

What you'll do

• Carefully laying and assembling different layers of laminate
• Cutting carbon and textile materials to size using machines
• Carrying out quality checks before products move to the next production stage
• Keeping your workstation tidy, safe and well organised
• Working with colleagues to deliver the right quality every day

You work 37 hours a week in a 2-shift system. Because precision is very important with these products, you get enough time to learn the work properly. Experienced colleagues support you throughout.

What we ask

• Thinking and working level equivalent to MBO (Dutch secondary vocational education)
• Good command of Dutch
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
• Experience in a production environment is a plus, but not required
• Accuracy and attention to quality in your work
• Good work attitude and motivation to learn the trade

What we offer

• Gross salary of €3,090 to €3,150 per month
• Permanent contract after a positive performance review
• Full time: 37 hours a week in a 2-shift system
• Almost 40 days of leave per year
• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance) of 8%, a standard Dutch bonus paid once a year on top of your salary
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre, or a free public transport card

You work in a clean, calm and well-organised production environment. From your first working day, experienced colleagues guide you step by step through the role so you gradually become more independent. After the first interview, a tour of the production facility in Nijverdal is arranged.
