What you'll do

• Receiving meat at the facility
• Processing meat: cutting and marinating
• Preparing meat for the smoking process and placing it on racks

Working hours

You work in a two-shift system, Monday to Sunday:

• Morning shift: 06:00 to 15:00
• Afternoon shift: 15:00 to 23:00

You have one fixed day off. The day is agreed together with you.

What we ask

• Work experience is a plus, but motivation matters more
• No issues working in a noisy environment (ear protection is provided)
• No issues working in a cold environment and handling meat products
• Good physical condition and ability to walk a lot during work
• In some departments, you need to be able to lift large pieces of bacon and move heavy crates
• Willingness to remove all jewellery during work
• Available full-time or at least four days a week, for a longer period
• Dutch or English language skills
• Living near Haarlem or willing to relocate to the area

What we offer

• Pay: €14.71 per hour for age 19 and older
• Pay: €8.50 per hour for age 18
• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance) of 8%
• Shift supplements:
• 131.50% for work Monday to Saturday between 18:00 and 06:00
• 125% for work on Saturday between 06:00 and 18:00
• 190% for work on Sundays and public holidays (all hours)
• Planned average of 38 hours per week
• Training across different departments in the facility
• All necessary workwear and personal protective equipment provided
