Production worker

About the job

You work in the cheese processing department of a factory. You use a machine to remove the outer layer of large blocks of cheese and prepare them for the next step in production.

What you'll do

• You place cheese blocks of 15 kg at your workstation
• You trim the cheese using a processing machine
• You check the quality of the trimmed cheese
• You move the trimmed cheese using an electric pallet truck (EPT)
• You keep your workstation clean and tidy
• You work with your colleagues to meet the daily production targets

Note: if you have no experience with an EPT yet, you will learn it on the job and you can get your EPT certificate.

What we ask

• You can lift up to 15 kg without problems and you can stand and work physically for longer periods
• You are available full-time for morning, afternoon and night shifts
• You communicate in Dutch or English at B2 level

Experience in production or with an EPT is welcome, but not required. What counts is motivation, reliability and physical commitment.

Employment conditions

• €17.23 gross per hour
• 30% supplement for work between 18:00 and 22:00
• 40% supplement for work between 22:00 and 07:00
• Performance bonus up to €2.00 gross per hour
• Vakantiegeld (holiday pay) of 8.33%
• Travel costs reimbursed
• Temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• On-the-job training and the possibility to obtain an EPT certificate
• Employment conditions match those of employees hired directly by the company (days off, supplements, pay for time off and other pay components)

Location: Kaatsheuvel. Dutch and English are used at the workplace.
