About the job
You work on a family farm, caring for pigs and free-range chickens. This is a part-time job, around 16 hours a week, 2 days a week.
What you'll do
- Daily care for pigs and free-range chickens
- Doing daily rounds and monitoring animal health
- Collecting eggs and checking their quality
- Checking and refilling drinkers and feeders
- Cleaning and pressure washing the pig shed and chicken coops
What we ask
- Experience in pig or poultry farming
- Ability to spot unusual behaviour or health problems in animals
- Ability to work independently and willingness to do physical work
