Groundworker – electrical infrastructure and lighting

About the job

You work outside on electrical infrastructure. You dig trenches, lay cables, and help install lighting masts and road systems. The work is on roads and intersections, in all weather.

What you'll do

• Dig and fill trenches for cables
• Lay cables in the ground
• Help install lighting masts
• Support the installation of electrical and road systems
• Keep the site clean and safe

What we ask

• Category B driving licence
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction workers), or willingness to get one
• Knowledge of Dutch
• Good physical condition. The work is heavy and takes place outside in all weather

Employment conditions

• Salary from €2,500 to €2,900 gross per month (full time)
• 25 holiday days per year
• 13 extra days off (ATV, a Dutch system of additional rest days)
