Construction Preparation Specialist

About the job

You prepare construction plans for new build, renovation and transformation projects. You are involved from the first initiative phase through to handover for execution.

What you'll do

• You assess project feasibility and take part in tenders and construction team processes
• You analyse options for execution, logistics and efficiency of construction processes
• You translate preliminary and draft designs into concrete, workable plans
• You advise on construction methods, standardisation and building systems
• You work with the calculation department, internal teams and external parties, and make sure the project is handed over to the construction team completely

What we ask

• Experience in the preparation phase of construction, for example at a main contractor or architect's office
• Knowledge of construction processes, construction methods and cost indicators
• Strong technical thinking and a solution-focused approach, the ability to keep an overview in complex projects, and good communication and collaboration skills
