Electrotechnical Service Engineer

About the job

As an electrotechnical service engineer, you make sure electrotechnical installations run safely, reliably, and well. You work at different locations. You handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of installations.

What you'll do

• Commission electrotechnical installations after cabling is complete
• Carry out service, inspection, and maintenance work
• Find and fix faults and technical defects
• Check installations for safety, quality, and performance
• Write work reports and maintenance records
• Log completed work in digital systems
• Flag opportunities for improvement and advise on technical solutions
• Work with colleagues to keep installations running well

What we ask

• Completed technical education at MBO-4 level (Dutch vocational qualification, level 4) in electrical engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• VCA-VOL certificate (Dutch safety certification for working in hazardous environments), or willingness to obtain it
• Experience with maintenance work and troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and accurately
• Technical mindset and problem-solving ability
• Good communication skills
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to work in a team
