Window and Door Technician

About the job

You work as a window and door technician. You inspect and maintain frames and fittings at private homes and businesses. You work alone or with a colleague at different locations around Arnhem.

What you'll do

• Check and adjust fittings and hinges
• Carry out maintenance on frames
• Replace parts such as caps and seals
• Lubricate and clean moving parts
• Do small repairs on site at the customer's location
• Inform customers about the work you have done
• Handle the administrative reporting of service visits

What we ask

• Category B driving licence
• Good command of Dutch
• Physical fitness, the job includes climbing stairs and light carrying work
• Living near Arnhem or Ede
• Ability to obtain a VOG (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag, a certificate of good conduct issued by the Dutch government)
• Experience as a technician is a plus

Employment conditions

• Starting salary from €2,600 net per month, depending on experience (range €2,900 to €3,250 gross)
• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance) of 8.33%
• 24 days of annual leave and 11.5 ATV days (extra days off agreed in the CAO, the Dutch collective labour agreement)
• No emergency call-outs, weekends free
• Daily net allowance of €6.80
• Annual bonus of €350 net
