Automotive Glass Technician

About the job

As a service technician, you assess, repair and replace automotive glass. You are the first point of contact for customers and explain what work you carry out.

What you'll do

• Assess and repair damage to automotive glass
• Replace automotive glass
• Calibrate camera systems after a windscreen replacement
• Install temporary protection (such as plexiglass) when the right glass is not immediately available
• Advise customers on safety and maintenance (for example, wiper condition) and handle the related paperwork
• Be on call for emergencies outside regular working hours (evenings and weekends)

What we ask

• Practical experience or a strong interest in automotive technology
• Category B driving licence and your own car
• Good command of Dutch
• Good physical condition, as the work is hands-on and requires standing for long periods
• Willingness to take on emergency on-call shifts outside standard working hours

Employment conditions

• Gross salary from €2,798 to €3,722 per month
• 25 holiday days per year (full-time)
• ATV allowance (extra time-off entitlement) of 5% of gross salary, which can be exchanged for additional days off
• Vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a Dutch statutory bonus) of 8%
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre
