MIG/MAG Welder

**About the job**

The employer makes steel masts from pipes and sheet metal parts. The masts have doors and various aesthetic and functional components. They are used in infrastructure projects in the Netherlands and abroad, for example for street lighting, traffic signals, signage, camera systems, rail contact lines, and electric vehicle charging systems. The company has more than 75 employees across two locations.

**What you'll do**

• Weld steel masts made of pipes and sheet metal parts
• Fit doors and aesthetic and functional components to the masts
• Work on production orders ranging from single pieces to series of up to 500 units
• Work in a small production line together with a team of colleagues
• Use the right welding and support equipment, set up to keep heavy lifting and pushing to a minimum

**What we ask**

• MIG/MAG qualification level 1, level 2 preferred
• Experience with welding in flat and horizontal position (PA/PB) is a plus, not required
• VCA Basic certificate (a safety certification required on many Dutch work sites), or willingness to obtain it (paid for by the employer)
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
• A flexible attitude, not strictly a 9-to-5 mindset

• Salary from €14.99 to €21.00 gross per hour
