Steel construction welder / assembler

About the job

You work as a welder and assembler of steel structures and technical installations. You read technical drawings and make sure all parts are assembled and welded correctly.

What you'll do

• You read and interpret technical drawings from the team leader
• You assemble steel structures according to the technical drawings
• You move steel to the right departments using an overhead crane
• You weld structures using MIG/MAG welding to produce a high-quality finished product
• You keep your workstation tidy and safe

What we ask

• Experience with MIG/MAG welding
• Knowledge of NEN-1090 (European standard for steel structures)
• Ability to read technical drawings
