Pipe Welder (TIG)

About the job

Certified pipe welders are needed. Projects vary a lot, from prefabricating pipe systems in a workshop to working on a client's site. Each location needs a different specialist, so certified welders are always welcome for projects in industry and petrochemicals.

What you'll do

• Weld pipes using the TIG method, in carbon steel and stainless steel
• Prefabricate pipe systems in a workshop or on a client's site
• Carry out welding work at different locations: ships, production facilities, industrial installations and workshops
• Work on projects in food and dairy, shipbuilding, industry, installation and district heating
• Work on short-term and long-term projects, depending on your experience and preference

What we ask

• A valid welding qualification, or willingness to obtain one through the client (opdrachtgever)
• Experience with TIG welding, preferably from level 3 upwards
• VCA Basis certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working on industrial sites)
• A driving licence and your own car
• Flexibility, no strict 8-to-5 attitude
• Willingness to work in the provinces of Groningen, Drenthe, Friesland and Noord-Holland, depending on where you live
• TIG certificates for carbon steel and stainless steel are preferred

• Salary from €2,466.56 to €4,200.00 gross per month

• A standard set of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Varied assignments in the provinces of Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland, or elsewhere in the Netherlands by agreement
