Specialist Cleaner – Railway Stations and Tracks

About the job

You work as a specialist cleaner at and around railway stations in the Rotterdam and The Hague region. You handle thorough cleaning of difficult areas using specialist equipment and cleaning products.

What you'll do

• Carry out specialist cleaning work at stations and on tracks, such as deep cleaning, high-pressure washing, graffiti removal and floor maintenance
• Clean platforms, waiting areas, lifts, stairs, tunnels and technical rooms
• Work according to strict safety rules in a railway environment
• Keep quality standards high on every job
• Report any contamination or damage you spot

What we ask

• Experience in the cleaning industry, preferably as a specialist cleaner
• Available Monday to Friday, around 38 hours a week, including willingness to work nights
• Category B driving licence and own car
• Good command of Dutch
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certification for working in hazardous environments) or willingness to obtain it
• Willingness to obtain railway safety certificates (DVP)
• Living in or near Rotterdam

What we offer

• Salary from €2,810 to €3,190 gross per month, depending on experience
• Supplements for evening, night and where applicable weekend work
