Senior Production Operator

About the job

As a Senior Production Operator, you are the experienced go-to person in the production team. You work directly in the process and use your hands-on knowledge to support colleagues and improve production. You do not need years of management experience. If you are an operator with a lot of practical experience and colleagues regularly come to you for advice, this could be your next step.

What you'll do

• Work independently within the production process
• Guide and support operators
• Onboard new employees
• Assign and coordinate daily tasks
• Monitor quality, safety, and production progress
• Identify and resolve technical and process deviations
• Stay in contact with the technical department during breakdowns or maintenance
• Take part in improving the production process
• Give colleagues feedback and support them in working safely and correctly
• Coordinate work on the shop floor when the supervisor is absent

What we ask

• Experience as an operator, senior operator, technical operator, or working team leader
• Experience in a production or process environment
• Knowledge of process technology and a hands-on approach to work
• Ability to guide and correct colleagues
• Problem-solving mindset
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Good command of Dutch
• Good command of English
• A forklift certificate and/or BHV (Dutch emergency response and first aid certificate) is a plus. If you do not have these certificates, there is an option to obtain them
