About the job

Location: Duiven

In this role you are the main technical specialist for solving problems in the factory. You work with a varied and demanding range of machines, including extruders, shredders, sorting lines and washing installations.

What you'll do

  • Breakdown repair: You analyse and fix electrical and control engineering faults, quickly and thoroughly.
  • Preventive maintenance: You carry out inspections, maintenance and repairs to prevent breakdowns.
  • Repair and replacement: You work on motors, cabling, sensors, PLC components and other parts of the line.
  • Improvements: You take part in process optimisation and support production in solving technical problems.
  • Parts management: You identify what materials are needed and coordinate this with the Technical Warehouse.
  • Machine commissioning: You help with testing, improving and expanding machine installations.
  • Collaboration and communication: You work closely with operators, fellow mechanics and supervisors.
  • Safety: You keep the workplace clean, safe and organised.

What we ask

A technical specialist with a hands-on approach and the ability to solve problems quickly and logically.

  • MBO-3 / MBO-4 diploma (Dutch vocational education, level 3 or 4) in a technical field.
  • Experience as a breakdown mechanic or maintenance mechanic in an industrial environment.
  • Persistence and a drive to keep improving.
  • Ability to work in a team, but also independently.
  • Flexibility, a good team attitude and no fear of getting your hands dirty.
  • 100% hands-on profile with a proactive attitude.

  • Salary: €3,500 - €5,750 gross per month (including a 27% shift allowance), depending on experience.
