Conventional Lathe Operator

About the job

A client in the Flevoland region is looking for an experienced conventional lathe operator for a role in industrial production. You will work with metal on conventional lathes, making precise parts based on technical drawings.

What you'll do

• Operate conventional lathes
• Turn metal parts according to technical drawings and tolerances
• Set up and adjust machines independently
• Check the quality of finished parts using measuring tools
• Cut threads, drill holes and carry out other lathe operations
• Keep machines clean and in good technical condition

What we ask

• Experience working on a conventional lathe
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Knowledge of measuring tools such as a calliper and micrometer
• Ability to work independently and with precision
• Basic communication skills in English or Dutch

What we offer

• Pay of 16.50 – 22.00 EUR gross per hour, depending on experience
• Full-time employment
• Work at a stable production company in the Flevoland region
