Bricklayer (self-employed)

About the job

As a self-employed bricklayer (ZZP, the Dutch term for self-employed contractor), you work on a range of construction projects. You work for yourself and organise your own tasks on site.

What you'll do

• Build and lay facades, walls and partitions
• Work with different brick formats and mortar types
• Carry out renovation and repair work
• Read and interpret construction drawings
• Organise and complete assigned work independently
• Keep the work site safe and tidy

What we ask

• Proven experience as an independent bricklayer
• Registered as self-employed with an active KvK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce) number
• Valid BTW (VAT) number
• Own transport and own tools
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certification for construction workers), or willingness to obtain one
• Professional and independent attitude
• High standard of quality and workmanship

• Hourly rate from €40.00 to €50.00 gross

• Weekly payment on receipt of your invoice
